We are using them in the kitchen We have put the waste bin and recycling on them, and the dog food bowl and water this is because in They are absorbent and the rubber backing stops any drips etc leaking into the wooden floor. It has worked well To date. They are also easy to clean another bonus

Needed floor mats to replace a kitchen rug that was a bit too thick, so a trip hazard. These smaller mats seemed ideal as they are much thinner with a rubber edge that sits flat to the floor, so less issue with catching a foot and tripping. I've marked them down though as disappointingly the underside is not slip resistant, at least not on a lino/vinyl floor, in fact quite the opposite. They do easily move around. I guess it depends on your floor type, but on our kitchen flooring the mats smooth rubber backing definitely doesn't have 'grip'. On the positive side, they do indeed catch bits, which are easily swept with a stiff brush, quick vacuum or shake outside. I personally would not put them in a washing machine due to the rubber, but rather spot clean to increase longevity, but again it depends what you will use it for and how grubby it'll get. I have one placed infront of the kitchen sink where it absorbs any random water splashes. It's also comfy under your toes if you happen to be bare foot. Straight from the delivery packaging they un-rolled flat, no curled-up corners. Do check the dimensions, I knew exactly the size they were and they were ideal for what was wanted. Fair value for 2 nice looking small sized mats, which would have been 5 stars had they been non-slip :(

Good non slip mat. Nice colour and appears to catch the dirt. Can be vacuumed and machine washed, however slightly awkward fitting into washing machine.
