I ordered this rug through vine and therefore received it for free for review. I ordered the 120x180 in black brown and was actually surprised when it arrived in such a small box, I was expecting a carpet roll😂. The rug is much thinner than I anticipated, it is still however nicely made and soft under foot for such a short pile, any increase in pile density would no doubt cause problems with machine washing. With a month of use in the kitchen it has so far performed well, also keeping my feet warmer and off the cold tiles when I'm to lazy to put slippers on. I have not washed it yet but it vacuums well. Am I happy with it? Yes I am but mainly because I didnt pay for it. The rug looks nice and is holding up well but at £47 in my opinion it is just to thin. I have given four stars as it looks and feel nice, the finish is good, it's washable and vaccums well, but one star has been removed as it's thin for the price.

I have the blue rug in one of the smaller sizes, but there are 4 colours and 6 sizes available. The abstract pattern is attractive and the rug should suit deployment in various rooms. My rug came boxed and tightly folded, so the creases are very obvious at first. We have wooden floors and tiles throughout our bungalow, and a number of rugs already so knew what to do upon delivery. It's best to unpack/unroll the rug and inspect where the most obvious creases are, then roll up again in the opposite direction and leave for 24 hours at normal room temperature. Next day, unroll and repeat but with the reverse side turned uppermost. After 48 hours, place your rug as desired and vacuum it in multi-directions and walk over as normal. Following a bit of usage and wear/vacuuming any creases should soon disappear. I like the short pile, which is easy to clean and the rug is machine washable (if it's a smaller size). Larger sizes will need an occasional hanging on a line and given an old fashioned beating to fully remove dust/debris. The short pile is also better with pets, though we do find our cat likes to try and have a go at clawing the [very] short pile hall runner, which we deter by a loud shout and occasional use of a citrus spray to the runner. In the product description it's claimed the rug backing is non-slip. To an extent I agree; certainly placed on another carpet or rug it should be fine, but not on wooden floors because there's still a degree of slipping/curling up. The rug is not heavy weight whatever size you choose, so for wooden floors or tile laying I'd recommend adding some non-slip tape to the backing, or for larger rugs a non-slip underlay.
